1/ Types of kitchen hoods

2. Exhaust technology
The hood has 2 types of suction and exhaust: Activated carbon and duct.

3/ Capacity of the hood

4/ Machine noise
The noise level of range hoods on the market is in the range of 35 - 70 dB. Common levels include:
- 35 dB for quietest (at minimum speed).
- 45 dB for average level (at minimum speed).
- 55 to 60 dB at maximum extraction rate.
However, the noise level of the machine can be affected by the suction power and installation method.
5/ Additional utilities
